North London Revival Fellowship

Due to Coronavirus (Covid-19) and recent government announcements, we have decided to move to Skype meetings on Wednesdays and Sundays, with only the one meeting on Sunday.

Dialing Into the Meeting

Dial-in

  1. Start Skype and login
  2. Enter northlondonrevival in the box at the top lett




  3. You will see the northlondonrevival label in another box below:
    Click this box



    Please use this same procedure every week.
    If you try to re-join a previous chat or call, it won't work.


  4.  The screen opens to the northlondonrevival channel.  Look in the top right corner for a "phone call" icon. Click it to dial into the meeting.

  5. Yay !!   Now you are calling into the meeting. When it connects, you will see video of whomever is running the meeting and a list of who is there.


If It Doesn't Work

  • If it did not work , please try again. The operator will try to add you to the call.
  • If it really doesn't work it may be that the operator will call you back. If you get a call from northlondonrevival answer it to join the meeting.
  • If it really really doesn't work send David a WhatsApp to request help.

How to Mute and Unmute Yourself

  • Mute    : Click on the microphone icon so it has a line through it, like this:

  • Speak   : Click on the microphone icon so it is a solid colour, like this:

Similar controls exist to turn off your video, if you have one.

Remember :

  • Try to dial-in at least 15 mins before we start, to give time for sorting out any issues.
  • Most of the time please mute yourself so that you do not disturb the meeting. If you are called on to speak (e.g say a prayer or give a testimony), you will need to remember to unmute and remute afterwards.
  • As beautiful as you are, we don't need to see you! Unless you are giving the talk. So you can probably switch off your video too - this will preserve bandwidth and data usage. If your video is on,  please ensure you are dressed appropriately .
  • If you are using a mobile-phone, make sure that you are connected on WiFi, so your data is not consumed unnecessarily.
  • Chat-channel. Please do not use the chat box during the meeting. We will post scripture references in there. If you need some attention, send a private message to the operator in skype or Whatsapp.

Coronavirus and the Bible It’s an easy mark, isn’t it? With the current pandemic sweeping the globe, it almost seems like a cheap shot to suddenly start reminding people that the Bible predicts a time in history when such events will occur. There is often an understandable response which dismisses these reminders or warnings as the inevitable and tiresome prattling of ‘doomsday merchants’ or ‘Bible bashers’. Reasons to be Cheerful

Jesus said to be of 'good cheer'!. Yet some might say, "what have I possibly got to be cheerful about?" or "you don't understand what's going on" or "my situation is different" .  Well, whatever we may say at times, Jesus gave four pretty good reasons why we can be cheerful and we will see on each occasion that He said “Be of good cheer” , He gives the reason why and then how to go forward from there. See for yourself: 1. Matthew  9:2,6 KJV. "Be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee ...
